Two 2

It's no secret that I have a soft spot for Two.  For me, Two is a recurring aesthetic and thematic aspect of my work.  So this being my second post, it is only fitting that I give Two some credit.

Pythagoras dubbed Two a bit special.  He said (some creative quoting here) - Two; you will be the first even number of the two groups of numbers - odds and evens.  You are the female number, the number of opinion.  The number of balance, conflict and opposition.

Positive and negative numbers do not exist without you Two.

You are the number of the moon; the "oddest prime" (ie. the smallest, first and only even prime number).

You are the atomic number for Helium; in the periodic table of elements you are represented by the group of alkaline earth metals.

You are the number that represents division, dichotomy, reciprocity, and synthesis.

There's so much more about Two, but for fear of sounding a bit obsessive I shall leave it at that.

For now...
